Packed with history, UNESCO world heritage park Villa Demidoff is the perfect place to go for a picnic and by far the best way to get there is by electric bike.
The bikes do pretty much all of the work with their electric motors and you'll be free to enjoy the countryside views.
We can provide the picnic or there's also a café on site, you will be free explore the park on the e-bikes, get out the picnic blankets for lunch and we have some games for you to play.
ITINERARY
Meet at E-Bikes Florence, Via Santa Reparata 7R between 9am and 10am on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to collect the ebikes, games and picnic.
Set off towards the historic town of Fiesole, taking in some great views of Florence on the way. There where you can stop for a coffee in the main Piazza and visit San Francesco Monastery before heading through the Tuscan countryside to Villa Demidoff.
You will arrive at Villa Demidoff after a total of one hour's easy cycling. There's a lot of history to discover in the park, but with the freedom to ride the ebikes there, it's much easier to get around everything.
At lunch time you can set out the blankets for a picnic on the grass, surrounded by ancient statues and beautiful trees.
The park closes at 8pm and it takes around an half an hour to get back to the shop.
